The 5-Week Training Advantage
The Bulldogs Next Gen Summer Baseball Camp offers a comprehensive, five-week training program at Brunswick Varsity Baseball Complex designed to deliver fundamental skill development across all facets of the game. The camp operates daily from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, utilizing a structured block schedule that allocates time for intensive technical instruction, fundamental reinforcement, and competitive gameplay. The curriculum is specialized on a weekly basis, culminating in a final week dedicated to competitive metrics and live game scenarios.
Our weekly rotation ensures your athlete receives deep, focused training in every skill area, preventing burnout and maximizing development time. -
Camp Details
Location: Brunswick Varsity Baseball Complex
Duration: 5 Weeks (June 29 – July 31)
Daily Schedule: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Ages: 7–14
What to Bring: Baseball gear, water bottle, and a packed lunch.
Instructional Model: Station-Based Training followed by Competitive Play
Meal Policy: Participants are required to bring their own lunch.
Cost: $600 per week*

Weekly Training Curriculum
The program is structured across five weeks, each with a distinct focus to ensure specialized development:9:00 AM – 11:15 AM
Technical Skill Stations: High-intensity, focused drill work led by staff, rotating through specialized stations.
11:15 AM – 12:00 PM
Lunch Break: Supervised non-instructional time. (Participants bring their own lunch.)
12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
Competitive Play: Age-appropriate scrimmages and live game scenarios facilitated by coaching counselors. -
Week 1: Defensive Fundamentals and Pitching Development
Infield/Outfield Defense: Infield glove work, footwork, fielding mechanics, Outfield routes and angles.Throwing Mechanics: Basic throwing mechanics, PFPs, and arm care protocols.
Pitching/Catching: Bullpen sessions focused on delivery mechanics, Arm care routines, and catching specific receiving and throwing techniques.

Week 2 & 3: Offensive Skill Acquisition (Hitting)
Live Practice Scenarios: Live Batting Practice (BP) and Live Defensive instruction/response drills.Cage Work: Tee work, Coach Flip drills, and Soft Toss practice to refine swing path and contact.
Strength & Conditioning: Use of medicine balls (Med Balls) and resistance bands to enhance rotational power.
Specialized Drills: Utilization of wiffle balls/training balls for focused repetition; Bunting fundamentals.

Week 4: Integrated Skill Development (Combo)
This week combines the curriculum elements from Weeks 1-3 to provide comprehensive, full-game integration training.Offensive & Defensive Rotation: Live BP, Live Defense, and Cage work (Tee/Flip/Toss).
Core Fundamentals: Infield glove work, Outfield positioning, and foundational throwing/pitching (PFPs).
Specialized Roles: Catching instruction/drills.

Week 5: Competitive Metrics and Game Simulation
The final week focuses on assessing player development through competition and performance measurement.Hitting Competitions: Homerun Derby, Best Bunter Challenge.
Speed/Agility: "Road Runner" sprint competitions.
Position Player Metrics: Best Pop Time (Catchers), Pitching Velocity (Velo), and Exit Velocity (Exit Velo) measurements.
Live Scrimmages: Structured scrimmages for comprehensive skill application in a game environment.
